Mission Statement - To Provide and Promote Advocacy, Assistance and Education to Persons With Kidney Disease and Their Families.

Programs - The Kidney Foundation of Medina County is dedicated to helping Medina County Residents whose lives are affected by renal disease.

The Foundation has several programs for kidney patients and their families:

• Medication Program - Grants are awarded to help pay for life-giving medications.
  
  
• Transportation Reimbursement Program - For trips to and from hemodialysis sessions.
  
  
• Support Group - Meets to provide information and support for families, friends and patients. Call for information on meeting times and locations.
  
  
• Free Information on Kidney Diseases - The Foundation maintains a library of informative booklets on kidneys and kidney diseases. Speakers Bureau provides programs for groups and clubs.
  
  
• Monthly Newsletter - The Newsletter is designed to help kidney patients cope with their disease, and learn about services available in Medina County.
  
  
• Patient Referral/Advocacy Program - The Foundation will make referrals to other area agencies as appropriate and will assist renal patients in securing services they need.

3. Private Gifts - Your tax-donation gifts are welcome and will enable the Foundation to continue its service to the residents of Medina County.
   
   
4. Memorial Program - The Kidney Foundation of Medina County’s Memorial Program offers the opportunity to remember a loved one and make a difference in the community.

5. Old Car Donations Would you like to get rid of an old friend? The Kidney Foundation of Medina County accepts old cars from Medina County, Ohio residents. The Foundation will arrange too have your car towed, if necessary, and you will receive a receipt for tax purposes.
